Kanye West showed a video for the track Donda Chant from his tenth studio album Donda, dedicated to his late mother. The video can be viewed on the artist’s Instagram account.

The video shows photos from the West family archives, projected at Salger Field Stadium in Chicago during the last record launch, August 26. At the center of the composition is West’s childhood home, which was recreated especially for the concert. The Donda Chant doesn’t have a musical sequence, just Donda’s name being spoken for 52 seconds. In time with it, the pictures in the video, shared by West, change. Fans of the artist suggested that in this way he tried to repeat the rhythm of his mother’s last heartbeat.
